Time flies When You’re Having Fun
St. John’s Aug 6 – Tara and I headed to the Masonic Temple for a little dinner and theatre. We caught “Our Celtic Spirit…Written in Crayon,” an interactive musical production put on by local theatre group Spirit of Newfoundland. Me thinks someone must have tipped off the waitstaff about Tara and my mission because waiters would periodically give us origami roses made from paper towel. Random, but very sweet nonetheless.
The show was great, but it was really more of a precursor to another tour of George Street, – which started with a text to that cute bar manager that I met on Tuesday and ended at 3 in the morning. Tara took off early though. She wasn’t up for an all-nighter. Apparently, I was because I hung out with my blue-eyed Bar Manager right till last-call. Which is so not my style. But what can I say? The man is funny, sweet, cute and attentive, (notice I didn’t use the dreaded “nice” word?). And to boot, he has an adorable accent! Needless to say, I’m really looking forward to our first official date.

you need to grow up and realize that selfishness is the last quality men look for in a woman. you are so self absorbed in your own life that no man will end up sticking around when everything’s about you, you and you…
stay single and leave men alone…your not meant to be with anyone other than your mirror and travel case
Ah Sarah…
Sorry I missed your stop in Halifax. I would have loved me meet you!
Maybe next time you’re in town…
